Global Rainmakers Inc (GRI), an organization responsible for the transformation of the identity management and access control market, revealed that it will help by using Iris scanning technology to create a futurist and protected city project for Leon in Guanajuato, Mexico, along with Portoss, an enterprise based in Leon.
According to GRI’s CEO, Hector Hoyos, this project would do wonders for the Mexican citizens, status of Iris biometrics, and the world. Portoss’ clear-sighted outlook for a secure city synchronizes with GRI’s own vision. It will employ Iris to detect movements of human beings from a distance while ensuring their existence. He stated that they were happy with Leon and Portoss’ commitment to this project and the choice of GRI’s products. It is appropriate that Leon, being the site of Mexican Independence and the sixth biggest city in Mexico, is the ideal setting for such a ground-breaking process.
This project will deploy the world’s highly sophisticated technology to take care of the city’s security arrangements by offering a matchless Iris biometric solution for enforcing law and other services. As Iris identity solutions are highly swift, they are apt for both single or multi identification processes, which is necessary for a populace of more than a million.
The CEO of Portoss, Alfonso Huerta Jimenez, revealed that Portoss was designed mainly to produce or generate superlative solutions along with Leon’s co-operation, and this project symbolizes their many years of toil to keep up the promise. This proves Portoss’ capacity to efficiently use the GRI technology for major urban actions, and is the stepping-stone for Portoss to be involved in other projects, such as transportation, law enforcement, and national security.
To pull off this project, Portoss would be establishing Iris technology all over Leon, fit in vast quantities of fiber optic cable, and create a centralized Iris database with an option of incorporating private sector organizations for varied solutions.
The biometric identity solutions have been evaluated by many public sector undertakings such as the Pentagon, U.S. Air Force, other U.S. government agencies, as well as corporate sector clients such as Bank of America.
The Mayor of Leon, Ricardo Sheffield, remarked that Leon, situated between Guadalajara and Mexico City, has been transformed into a major center in the country, and this project would strengthen their leading role in the country.
