The BM25 adds the benefits of a fixed system area monitor into a sturdy, user-friendly and transportable instrument. It was engineered to detect one to five gases for temporary or mobile work applications, area surveillance, team protection, or places where fixed detection systems do not apply.
The BM 25 multi-gas monitor powered by a NiMH battery pack offers up to 170 hours of continuous operational time. Other regular features include TWA and STEL values, as well as a data logging capacity of over four months. Multiple units can be assembled using optional alarm transfer kits. This safeguards larger areas by transferring alarms from one BM 25 to the next. An intrinsically safe trickle charger is also provided for long-term area tracking in classified zones.
The BM25 is versatile and durable. It is ideal for a broad range of industries including pharmaceutical production and refineries. Applications include rig overhauls, turnaround work sites, and fence-line surveillance.
The BM 25 Wireless offers users flexibility and freedom while keeping the standard features of the BM 25.
The MX 40 controller was built to centralize the information conveyed by the BX 25 over a wireless network and can exhibit up to 32 measurements in real time. When a BM 25 signals an alarm, the MX 40 also enters into alarm mode and can, for instance, control internal relays and direct other monitors to convey the alarm as well.
