Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection provide high-performance gas detection systems. The collection also includes a variety of units and alarms that are compatible with gas detectors.
Why Use a Gas Detection Controller?
A fixed detection system’s key component is the gas detection controller. It is linked to many detectors and provides continuous and permanent monitoring of places exhibiting gas leak threats.
It is important to note that the ATEX EN 50271 certifications and metrological performance as per EN60079-29-1 of the detector installation assure secure operation.
The device begins by analyzing the gas measurements provided by the detectors. It produces actions to warn users of the hazards associated with an excessive concentration of gas in the case of an abnormal threshold. These actions are predefined by the user and can include sound and/or light signaling, servo-controls, or alarm reporting through remote transmission.

Teledyne is delighted to announce the launch of MX 256 — its latest addition. With over 200 gas detection sites, this low-cost device delivers versatile, accurate and dependable site management, while its semi-automatic magnetic calibration simplifies maintenance to guarantee that the user’s system stays healthy, even in the harshest of settings.
Furthermore, compared to employing several stations for more extensive places such as labs, hotels, schools, colleges, and public and industrial buildings, these fully addressable sensors significantly reduce installation costs and, more crucially, the entire cost of ownership.
The MX 256 joins the MX family of units, which has the MX 16, MX 32, MX 40, MX 43, MX 52, and MX 62, to provide clients with a diverse choice of solutions to fulfill gas detection requirements.
