Teledyne has introduced the 7200 Plus and 7400 Plus controllers that offer display and alarm functions simultaneously for up to four monitored variables.
The controllers feature a graphic LCD that shows monitored data in the form of engineering units and bar graphs. Each channel is provided with three modifiable alarm levels. In addition, relay outputs enable users to control horns, beacons, and other alarm events.
The controllers are easy to use and simple to configure. Adjustable alarm set-points, measurement ranges in engineering units, optional serial interfaces, and a host of other features provide flexibility to satisfy even the most demanding applications.
A few controllers use NEMA 4X-rated enclosures and are CSA certified for hazardous locations and combustible detection. An optional RS-485 MODBUS® slave port in the controllers enables up to 128 controllers to be multidropped onto a separate data highway for interrogation by another MODBUS master.
Six 5-amp SPDT discrete alarm relays for every channel, 4 to 20 mA outputs, and light stacks are other options available with the 7200 Plus controller. All configuration information is retained indefinitely in nonvolatile memory.
Features
- MODBUS interfacing and output relay options for all kinds of settings
- Alarm controller and centralized graphic display
- Direct cat bead detectors and seamless upgrade for current loop
- Hazardous Location Approval for Class I, Division 2 Applications (only for certain units)
- Can be used with Teledyne’s complete range of gas detection transmitters and detectors
