RDA5876A Bluetooth Transceiver Selected by Sharp for Wireless Sound Bar Connectivity

RDA Microelectronics, Inc. ("RDA" or the "Company"), a fabless semiconductor company that designs, develops and markets wireless systems-on-chip and radio-frequency (RF) semiconductors for cellular, connectivity and broadcast applications, today announced that its RDA5876A Bluetooth transceiver has been selected by Sharp Electronics Corporation to enable wireless sound bar connectivity on products sold in the Unites States and European Union.

GPS Helps Find Weight of Winter Snowpack in Sierra Nevada

For the first time, NASA scientists have used GPS to find the total weight of winter snowpack and soil moisture in California's Sierra Nevada. The new results complement other satellite measurements and could provide a reality check for computer models used to estimate the state's water and snowpack.
