Relay Monitoring Systems Acquired by Wabtec

Wabtec Corporation has acquired Relay Monitoring Systems PTY Ltd. (RMS), a manufacturer of electrical protection and control products with annual sales of about $15 million. Based in Australia, RMS has operations or distribution networks in Asia and the Middle East, and its customers include utilities and rail equipment manufacturers.

Wabtec Corporation is a global provider of value-added, technology-based products and services for rail and other industrial markets. Through its subsidiaries, the company manufactures a range of products for locomotives, freight cars and passenger transit vehicles.
