Pro-Align, a leading supplier of garage and wheel alignment equipments in UK, has introduced a new DSP700 series of sensors for garages to facilitate easier and rapid wheel alignment calibrations.
The novel DSP700 model sensors permit the execution of rolling compensation, calibration process with much speed and ease compared to the conventional jacking compensation process. Pro-Align calculates that the calibration time can be shortened by approximately 60% using this improved version of the series.
Paul Beaurain, managing director of Pro-Align commented that their advanced sensor series will lessen the calibration times and enhances the performance in garages in comparison with the time consuming, complicated conventional sensors.
Rolling compensation is a crucial process during wheel alignment and the technicians have to roll a car simply towards the alignment lift and the system automatically furnishes precise, safe and repeatable outputs. If technicians leave out compensation, the alignment sensor may produce inappropriate results.
The wireless DSP700 sensors can be coupled with the Hunter100 or Hunter WinAlign alignment devices. Each sensor weighs less than 3.2 kg and is 50% lighter in weight than the conventional models. With the use of these sensors the garages can house a broad range of vehicles for fitting the wheels in the range of 10 inches to 24.5 inches. The innovative sensors will be demonstrated for the very first time at the Warwickshire-based Stoneleigh Mechanex exhibition, scheduled to be held from 21st to 22nd September, 2010.
Beaurain remarked that the development of such unique sensors reveal their dedication towards advanced product delivery for high-quality operation and utility in the garages.
