METTLER TOLEDO Announces a New Crystallization Development Online Seminar

Discover new methods for crystallization development during a free live online symposium.  Researchers from MIT, Georgia Tech and the University of British Columbia will discuss emerging approaches for crystallization.

May 9th, 2016 - METTLER TOLEDO has announced an upcoming online symposium entitled New Approaches in Crystallization Development, featuring researchers from University of British Columbia, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Georgia Tech.  This free online seminar will be held on September 14, 2016 at 10:00 AM EST.

Using case studies from academic research, this online seminar will focus on crystallization and precipitation. Topics will include effectively controlling crystallization process parameters as well as monitoring and optimizing crystal size and supersaturation.  Each talk will be followed by a live question and answer session with the presenter.

Professor Jason Hein of University of British Columbia will present "Publishing the Solubility Envelope: Resolution of Challenging Compounds Using Continuous Preferential Crystallization".  Daniel Griffin of Georgia Tech will present "Data-Driven Modeling and Dynamic Programming Applied to Batch Cooling Crystallization".  Jicong Li of Massachusetts Institute of Technology will present "Novel Continuous Crystallization Configurations for Improved Yield, Purity and Controlled Crystal Size Distribution.

This free online seminar is for chemists and chemical engineers in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries as well as academia.  There is no fee to attend.  However, registration is required.  Register for the New Approaches in Crystallization Development Seminar now.
