OptiMax Plug & Play Calorimeter

The OptiMax 1001 HFCal is a reaction calorimeter designed for fast and efficient safety assessments during process characterization and scale-up.

A reaction calorimeter for quick and effective safety studies for process characterization and scale-up is the OptiMax 1001 HFCal.

Uncover Scale-up and Safety Issues

OptiMax™ HFCal consistently provides information for characterizing and scaling up processes to assure their safety at scale.

Understand the Process Parameters

Heat data collected under both isothermal and non-isothermal circumstances allows for the characterization of process parameters in process-like conditions.

Simple and Accurate Calorimetry

The Plug & Play calorimetry module allows for accurate and precise measuring of heat information.

Features

Faster Process Development

Characterize reaction parameters and gather heat information at the same time. The combination of heat information and real-time analytical data provides researchers with the necessary information for safe scaling-up processes.

Precise Heating and Cooling

Powerful heating and rapid cooling, together with the unique control algorithm, ensure that the temperature remains accurately and precisely between –40 °C and 180 °C, even when sudden exothermic reactions occur.

Accurate Data Analysis

The iControl software automatically computes and reports heat transfer statistics, reaction enthalpies, heat flow, and the specific heat of the reaction mass with a single click.
