RS Electronics to Supply Honeywell Sensing and Control's Products

Michigan-based RS Electronics, a leading wholesale distributor of test and measurement instruments, electronic components and manufacturing supply-chain services, has signed a contract for supplying Honeywell Sensing and Control's Sensotec-Lebow unit’s products.

According to Dick Miller, Senior Vice President of RS Electronics, RS has been distributing a broad range of electronic equipments for over 80 years and that their recent contract with Sensotec-Lebow will strengthen the bond with Honeywell S & C and will further widen their sensing and control product supplements in the market.

Bill Matravers, Marketing Manager at RS Electronics stated that their clients can access superior quality sensors in varied size and ranges within a short period and hopes that it will give an aggressive edge since U.S. manufacturing holds greater lead-times for electronic components for industrial use.

Honeywell Sensing & Control is a global manufacturer of superior sensors and switches. The company recently manufactures wide variety of switches and sensors for use in medical, consumer electronics, industrial aerospace and automotive sectors. Honeywell S&C procured Sensotec in the year 2003.

Ohio-based Sensotec-Lebow, with its headquarters in Columbus, structures and develops numerous series of torque cells, accelerometers, pressure sensors and transducers, digital gauges and load cells for applications in industry.

RS Electronics’ consumers consist of various globally recognized educational institutions, commercial and industrial businesses as well as government agencies.
