Leica Geosystems, a pioneer in the fabrication of aerial sensing devices, launches a DSM extraction system for its recognized sensor series called the Leica XPro to furnish improved ground information processing, starting from the download of data to the generation of images.
The Leica XPro V5.0 consumers can easily create stereo-perceptible frame pictures from the sensor data series by using Leica ADS aerial digital sensing devices which provides precise geometric and radiometric information, meeting the standard workflow and data recording qualities.
The Leica XPro furnishes intense resolution and high-quality DSM measurements. This innovative system accurately blends with the workflow of Leica XPro and renders a solution to preclude LiDAR operations for generating DSM and producing orthoimages thus reducing extra flight expenses. Apart from this, the device is capable of taking pictures and surface samples in the same flight and this feature balances the benefits of geometry and image characteristics with the DSM.
The Leica XPro DSM module has already been exploited by North West Geomatics and its improved version XPro 5.0 will be launched by the end of October, 2010.
The Leica XPro Slicer can be deployed for slicing the L1 flight series to produce convenient storable, deliverable and stereo perceptible image tiles. The Slicer products are ideal for conventional frame-oriented three-dimensional mapping and feature mining in the office as well as in the fields. The stereo-perceptible frames can be recorded along the other side of the frame imagery.
