Permasense has launched a novel corrosion sensing device, which facilitates inspectors, planners, engineers, and plant managers to know the status and efficiency of major oil and gas assets.
The working of the devise is based on certain constantly installed grids having ultrasonic wall thickness calibration sensors with patented, waveguide-fixed architecture. The devise is capable of providing compatible, rugged corrosion information based on the requirement without any additional expenses.
These sensors can be constantly fixed to pipes working over temperatures ranging from -40 C to +550°C, even in complex or complicated areas. They are connected using wire-free grids to furnish information for stand-alone inspection or for installation into other plant sensing solutions. These sensors are ATEX and FM certified for use in Europe, United States, and in Australia.
The Permasense solutions delivers knowledge about the pipeline integrity of oil and gas infrastructures, providing better marketing options and reliable decisions and lowers the total expenses required for corrosion and erosion evaluation.
