Rolta to Sell Augusta Systems’ EdgeFrontier Middleware

Augusta Systems and Rolta have entered into a partnership for the distribution of the former’s, EdgeFrontier middleware. Rolta will sell the middleware to the defense, security, and geospatial industries, where sensor fusion and integration are important for offering situational awareness.

The EdgeFrontier middleware offers a platform for normalization and integration of events, control functions, and data from various systems, devices and networks. Such systems and devices include video management systems, cameras, registration and tracking systems, cameras, and threat-detection sensors.EdgeFrontier also allows remote processing, or policy-based processing of events and data.

The partnership is the result of the earlier collaborations between the companies made on homeland security and international public safety projects.

The CEO of Augusta Systems, Patrick Esposito, said that the combination of the capabilities of Augusta Systems and Rolta’s experience in IT and systems engineering will benefit the clients with dynamic results.
