NEC Display Solutions of America has recently added the 52-inch P521 LCD display to its P-Series range.
This LCD display joins the 70-inch P701, the 46-inch P461, and the 40-inch P401 LCD display family from NEC. The industrial strength display is useful for rigorous and round-the-clock functioning in environments like healthcare, staging, public information, rental, and airports.
The existing successful MultiSync LCD5220 model will be replaced by the P521 through providing connectivity and additional features to the old 52-inch LCD display customers. The new P521 display model includes the DisplayPort to ensure maximum connectivity. The P521’s Enhanced Digital Signage Technology Suite includes >30 in-built features and an Ethernet connection that. The new LCD model’s quick input change feature offers easy and fast switching among inputs for those customers who need continuous running of content with a flow that is uninterrupted. Customization choices help the users in personalizing their input names by developing individual characters for a maximum of eight characters like the VidConf or the Menu PC, thereby ensuring more flexibility.
Some of the important features of the P521 include brightness levels up to 700 cd/m², full high-definition resolution of 1920 x 1080, contrast ratio of 2000:1, improved Digital Signage Technology Suite with more than 30 advanced features for easier deployment and management multi-screen networks, broad connectivity with HDMI, S-Video, component, composite, BNC (RGBHV), DVI-D, VGA, and the DisplayPort; AmbiBright that ensures consistent and constant brightness for any lighting condition through the ambient light sensor, and in-built eco-friendly options like the carbon footprint meter for calculating and tracking carbon savings and the real-time scheduler.
NEC Display Solutions’s Product Manager Luke Bruschuk explained that the P Series LCD display range tackles harsh conditions by utilizing a premium grade panel, sealed panel design, rugged mechanical design, and internal temperature sensors, which offer protection against damaging elements in settings that are less than optimal. Bruschuk further elaborated that the integration of these enhanced features protects the P521 during usage and helps to maximize the lifecycle of the display.
