Canon has launched various novel highly economical digital cameras and the PowerShot A800 version from Canon is the first digital camera to be marketed at a budget price.
The 10-megapixel snapshot imagers are equipped with a 3.3X optical zoom with 37mm to 112mm, 35mm-equivalent, and feature a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
The PowerShot A1200 and A2200 versions are available with high-definition video modes and higher resolution sensing devices. The A1200 with 12-megapixel resolution and the A2200 with 14-megapixel resolution encompasses 28mm to 112mm or 35mm-equivalent lenses, 720p video, and 2.7-inch LCD screens. Both the models will be marketed by March 2011.
The PowerShot A3300 IS features a 16-megapixel sensor, a 3-inch LCD screen, a 28mm to 140mm or 35mm-equivalent optically stabilized zoom lens, besides a 720p video mode. The PowerShot A3300 IS will be transported together with the A800 in February 2011.
