Pressure Sensors for Trailers and Towing Trucks

HawksHead TPMS Systems has introduced its tire pressure monitoring system, which can measure the pressure and temperatures in the tires of tow-trucks and mobile homes.

It can measure the tire pressure not only in the lead vehicle, but also in the towed one. It is also suitable for traveling and flatbed trailers and fifth wheels.

Its monitor can measure 22 wheels up to 180psi at a time, while the generic CR1632 cell batteries can be replaced any time. The TALON RV can connect or disconnect the towed vehicle as needed. It can systematically test each wheel for pressure and temperature and the user can view the relevant information on the monitor. Audio and visual alarms can warn the driver of impending flat tires, rise in temperature or pressure beyond the allowed limit with wheel sensors. The monitor can capture images of wheels as far away as 45 feet.

The battery-operated monitor can also be used as a separate hand-held device for use when the driver is walking beside it. Customers can also opt for the Stubby metal tire valve and T-VALVES. Also available are sensor locks and hard wire cable.
