Capacitive Proximity Sensors for Object and Level Detection Applications

Offering a wider array of products to reliably solve object as well as level detection applications is Balluff’s new line of economical Global.CProx capacitive sensors.

The sensors include a diverse range of tubular M30, M18 and M12 sensors with either M12 connectors or pre-wired cables. Every Global.CProx sensor offers protection over short circuit with improved EMC protection and reverse polarity. The advanced sensor design results in greater productivity, reliability and less down time.

Regardless of color, texture or material, the flush-mount versions of Global.CProx sensors are capable of detecting objects within a 15mm radius while the non-flush mount versions are ideal for level detection of liquids or bulk material, which is achieved directly or through a container wall of glass or plastic, with a sensing distance of up to 25mm.

Extended switching distances, stainless steel or plastic housings, better adhesion compensation via non-flush switching characteristic, NPN and PNP versions with normally open or normally closed outputs, large green power on LED, large yellow output LED, extended setting range for sensitivity and high EMC noise immunity are  some of the features of Global.CProx Sensor.
