Touch Screen Vision Sensors for Complex Inspection Tasks

Banner Engineering has launched its latest iVu touch screen vision sensor family, the iVu Plus with Ethernet connectivity. The products offer complicated test capabilities and better flexibility.

They are cost- effective and user friendly. Ethernet connectivity helps the data to be transmitted directly through PLCs or central monitoring networks, for easy communications.

The solution can save 30 inspections, with rapid product transition, while a Sort sensor sifts through 10 patterns simultaneously. A user interface with a drop menu makes for easy and efficient configuration. It does not need any external computers. The iVu family has integrated touch screen TG and BCR models. Embedded sensors help users make changes on-site, while separate sensing devices monitor those areas difficult to access.

Three discrete communication channels over Ethernet or serial interfaces and a processor rapidly export data including inspection and image results to HMIs and computers. Other features include a Command channel and Data Export channels and an Image Export channel. Each device is encased in an IEC IP67-rated housing to suit varied applications.
