CAS DataLoggers Launch New DT85M Series Data Logger

CAS DataLoggers has entered into a partnership with dataTaker, for launching the new DT85M Series 3 Data Logger, which is a smart data logger designed mainly for remote monitoring.

DT85M Series 3 Data Logger

It includes a backlit LCD display which shows system status, alarms, channel data, all of which are easily navigable with the help of a six button keypad. An integrated cellular modem is used for advanced communication options. The data logger is capable of functioning reliably in any environment mainly due to its strong and robust construction. Its other features include operating temperatures ranging from -30° C to 70° C, automatic data delivery, an economic design which allows usage of a smaller solar panel and an internal storage capacity of 128MB added to the regular USB storage device.

The device has a feature of setting alarms, which could be utilized for initiating data delivery and also sending alarm messages to several mobile phones and email addresses. Data can be easily retrieved with just a few clicks. The live and historical data of the data logger could be accessed by the user and they could view information in the form of tables, mimics and charts.16 analog input channels which could expand up to 960 analog points and 320 channels, making use of optional CEM20 modules and two flexible digital channels are also available. It includes up to 48 analog sensor inputs along with two sensor ports connected in series, the basic inputs include current, voltage, frequency and resistance.

The data logger is supportive of a broad range of sensors such as RTD, thermocouples, thermistors, 4-20mA and monolithic temperature sensors. Its sample speed is 25Hz maximum, with an effective resolution of 18 bits. This device also incorporates dEX, a user-friendly graphical interface which is pre-installed. This helps the rapid configuration and setup of the remote monitoring system, thereby making it useful for both advanced and novice users. The data logger could be utilized in weather stations, agricultural research, fault identification, vehicle testing and structural monitoring applications.
