RF Technologies, a company which supplies radio frequency identification monitoring applications along with healthcare security solutions, has introduced the new SmartID location detection technology.

Smart ID location detection system

This technology would give the location of residents when called from a pendant with the help of the Code Alert Quick Response Plus Wireless Call Solution which takes advantage of the scalability and consistency of the Inovonics Echo Stream product line.

Paul Larson, who is the Vice President of RFT for the product development section has revealed that the new technology was an affordable solution for facilities which need location information up to a block of apartments or common living area, which would help caregivers to speedily respond to calls and at the same time give the residents living in a community, a higher sense of security.

The Quick Respose Plus comprises call pendants, which are being offered as a necklace, wristband, clip or belt, Quick Look LED displays, touch screen monitoring software and smoke detector reporting and integration features. The Quick Response Plus with Smart ID is very quick when compared to the other systems in use, which need a lot of time to map the facility.
