The technical resource available for design engineers in the manufacturing sector, Design News – a UBM Electronics brand has announced the date for Sensors in Design, an event focused on sensor applications.
Co-located with ESC Silicon Valley, Sensors in Design 2012 will be held at San Jose’s McEnery Convention Center from 28 to 29 March 2012. The first event of its kind, Sensors in Design will highlight revolutionary sensor designs and provide design engineers with live demonstrations required to integrate sensors in future projects.
The content director at Design News, Alexander Wolfe stated that at the Sensors in Design 2012, exhibits, cutting-edge demos and education will be focused upon mechanical, manufacturing and electronics sensing technology. Wolfe also stated that thoroughly compiled program tracks have been designed to help engineers incorporate sensors in the future.
Sensors in Design 2012 will be a technology event encompassing mechatronics, electronics and automation/factory sectors and will be beneficial to engineers across computer, automotive, consumer-electronics, industrial, semiconductor and medical markets. The program will also include technical presentations, plenary panels and executive keynotes, educational tracks detailing factory, MEMS, wireless sensing, automation, Internet and mobile sensing applications.
Sessions will also be dedicated on laptop, consumer-electronics and tablet design cases. The latest sensor products will be showcased and attendees will be given access to reference designs as well as product exhibits focusing on applications across automotive, industrial, process automation and robotics. Sensors in Design 2012 will also demonstrate sensors in action.
