Implant Sciences, a provider of high technology sensors and systems for homeland security markets, has sold the units of the Quantum Sniffer QS-H150, which is a portable trace detector of explosives, to the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda located in Washington, D.C.
These detection units will be deployed in Rwanda and will be used by the Rwandan Presidential Guard Unit.
Security Detection, a distributor of Implant Sciences based in the United States, made the sales of the detection units. This company has provided a broad range of security equipment rental and sales for many events in the US and in different industries.
According to Glenn D. Bolduc, Implant Sciences’ CEO and President, the company’s worldwide and home distribution networks have extended successfully around the world. The African continent is showing an increased interest in the company’s products. Currently, this QS-H150 Quantum Sniffer is employed in embassies around the world. Due to the reliability, portability and easy accessibility of the device, it is preferably used in VIP and Presidential security.
The Quantum Sniffer, QS-H150 is a portable device that detects explosives. Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) is used in this device to quickly detect and find the traces of explosives that are used widely in military, homemade and commercial fields. Radioactive materials are not used in this QS-H150. This self-clearing and self calibrating device features a low-maintenance design and offers operational availability at very high levels.
