CAS DataLoggers has joined the famous manufacturer Jager for providing the modular ADwin-Pro data acquisition and control system to its customers.
This system is suitable for offering superior quality products through individual automotive component testing, electrical component testing, motion control, operating with sensors and engine control unit’s, signal generation and high speed, motion regulation, synchronized data acquisition and control of servohydraulic systems.
This powerful, expandable system includes flexible configuration, several channels and field bus interfaces, such as interbus, CANbus, profibus, and serial interfaces so that it can be used along with a programmable controller. This cost-effective, modular system supports individually-controlled, parallel, and real-time processes, all functioning independently of a computer’s operating system to ensure response time of about 1µs or less. The ADwin-Pro system employs a high-performance digital signal processor for ensuring high throughput and is available in either AC or DC power versions housed in a benchtop or rack-mountable enclosure. The system ensures extremely low-latency operation, which is enabled by the firmly-coupled analog and digital inputs with the counters. This sophisticated system can offer many other I/O options such as SSI, profibus/fieldbus, CANbus, signal conditioner modules and RS-232/485.
The system’s on-board digital signal processor using its local memory performs data acquisition, on-line processing, output control and system management, thereby processing of each measurement can begin immediately after the acquisition. The communication between the system and the parent computer can be performed via either the Ethernet or USB interface. The ADwin-Pro also includes drivers for several programming environments such as VC/C++, LabVIEW, TestPoint, and VB. In addition, the system has an ADbasic control language, which helps users to program mathematical functions that will be executed immediately after each sampling stem, at high sampling rate of 1.25MHz.
