T+D Develops Pulse Data Logger for HVAC Energy Monitoring Applications

CAS Dataloggers has announced the release of the RTR-505-P Wireless Pulse Data Logger manufactured by T&D.

RTR-505-P wireless pulse data logger

The pulse datalogging solution was developed to record parameters including energy usage, humidity and temperature in HVAC energy monitoring applications. It is capable of recording changes in pulse count as well as Hi/Lo voltage signals that occur in a fixed recording interval.

The datalogger offers data logging capacity of 16,000 readings that allows users to continue logging over extended periods. It can measure voltage signals of up to 27 V with a high of 2.5 V or more and a low of 0.5 V or less. It offers a pulse response of 3,500 pulses/s.The RTR-505-P can count a maximum of 61,439 pulses per reading. An LCD display displays current readings with logging capacity, status and the measurement range exceeded.

The T&R RTR-505-P logger, with wireless capability, can be used in power meters and flow meters for HVAC power monitoring in warehouses, large commercial buildings, offices and factories. It can also be used for recording data such as wind speed and rainfall.

Other commercially available sensors can be connected to the RTR-505-P datalogger through the input module. The added flexibility provided by this feature widens the horizon of usage without changing the base units.

The T&D RTR-505-P datalogger includes a lithium battery with a battery life of 10 months at optimal temperature when recorded information is downloaded once every day. The L-model logger includes a large capacity battery pack with an extended battery life of four years.
