CAS DataLoggers now offers EC-6VA Three-phase Datalogger Kit from Electrocorder. The kit is a high-voltage and current solution for energy and power metering requirements.
The Electrocorder kit can be used by HVAC users for monitoring the power consumption of customers, proving the possibilities for energy savings. It helps perform energy audits, and also monitors and tunes power consumption and carbon emissions.
The power metering kit is a low-cost logging solution that includes the logger, transducers, Rogowski coils, voltage leads, free software, a USB lead and a carrying case. It is useful for industrial and power distribution companies, facilities managers, energy audit consultants and electrical contractors. The kit enables viewing of onsite power consumption and identification of power spikes and voltage supply faults.
The kit is a three-phase datalogger that features three current and three voltage channels. The current channels can measure up to 400 A, 1 kA, 2 kA or 3 kA AC, and the voltage channels from 30 V to 500 V AC. The datalogger monitors energy and power usage, checks for current and voltage variations and collects data to be provided to power suppliers. The main circuit does not have to be broken for placing the Rogowski coils around 140 mm cables. The datalogger functions even when only a single phase voltage supply exists. Three-phase energy is recorded through the three current inputs.
The datalogger features a constant data sampling technique that takes a sample multiple times in every cycle. It records data for around 300 days continuously. The product is supplied with Electrosoft software that allows users to specify the voltage for plotting the energy and power. The data can be uploaded to computers through the USB interface for analysis.
