QUBYX declared that Konica Minolta CA 210 Display Color Analyzer that promotes whiteness and color control on LCD and TFT displays has been integrated in QUBYX’s medical DICOM calibration and QA software PerfectLum.
The Konica Minolta measurement device is widely deployed as a reference device for LCD and TFT monitors by display manufacturers. It enables luminance measurement, low up to 0.1 cd/m2 and to achieve color measurements with ±0.002 precision for white and ±0.004 for primary colors. Using the LCD Flicker Measuring Probe, it allows flicker measurement, which is mandatory for testing LCD display quality.
PerfectLum software plays a vital role in the medical imaging industry as it enhances and validates the performance of displays. PerfectLum can carry out DICOM, CIE L and Gamma calibrations,in addition to compliance tests for medical industry standards including JESRA X-0093, AAPM TG18, IEC 62563-1 and DIN 6868-57. PerfectLum can be made adaptable with customary video cards, monitors, and measurement devices. Konica Minolta CA 210, when integrated with PerfectLum will make the software more compatible.
By integrating Konica Minolta CA 210 with PerfectLum, the functionality of the display color analyzer will be improved besides upgrading the software’s compatibility. Incorporation with PerfectLum software makes the measurement device to function as a reference instrument for evaluating the quality of LCD displays. In addition, it also performs a complete series of calibration and quality control operations, essential to ensure that the quality of medical monitors comply with the requirements of major industrial standards.
