RF Monolithics, a Dallas, TX-based manufacturer and designer of low-power radio frequency products, has announced that the advanced M2M frequency hopping and wireless sensor networking technologies will be demonstrated at the UBM Electronics’ Design West Conference and Exhibition being held from 27 to 29 March 2012 at booth number 1725 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.
RF Monolithics will also showcase the WLS-Series of Wi-Fi + Bluetooth Combination Modules featuring Bluetooth Low Energy v4.0.
The demonstration of FHSS Sensor Networking featuring the RFM LG24E will highlight the effortlessness of transmitting the data to an internet network or the cloud using the FHSS-based networking devices.
The demonstration of the low-power Wi-Fi Sensor Monitoring will illustrate the ease at which the WSN802G module is embedded into an application without requiring a co-processor or any programming. Featuring multiple digit sensor and direct analog inputs, the Wi-Fi WSN802G module can be easily integrated with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n networks. It is capable of securely transmitting data using a 128 bit AES encryption.
The WLS1270, the WSL1271L and the WSL1273L Wi-Fi + Bluetooth Combination modules will be showcased at 2012 Design West. The BLE feature of the Bluetooth SIG release of v4.0 BLE will enable OEMs to design smaller wireless devices that offer more durability
The Director of M2M Business, Tim Cutler will be performing the demonstration at the 2012 Design West. Cutler explained that the wireless-made-easy features of each application will be detailed to help application developers and design engineers understand the benefits of using them while integrating wireless connectivity into their designs.
