CAS DataLoggers offers T&D TR-71W Ethernet temperature data loggers for restaurant supply chains to monitor the temperature in deli refrigerators and freezers. These devices are a necessity in order to maintain the freshness of food.
When refrigerators and freezers fail, the concerned personnel have to rectify the issue within the shortest period of time, as delay leads to spoilage of food. Automated monitoring and alarming systems will help reduce inventory losses in fast-food franchises and delis.
The T&D TR-71W Ethernet temperature data loggers are rugged and compact devices that have the capacity to measure temperature from -40°C to 110°C. Addition of an optional sensor widens the temperature range to -60°C to 155°C. The readings are displayed in real-time on a multifunction display. These devices can operate continuously and have a 16,000 point memory for data logging.
The two-channel T&D TR-71W features a built-in 10BaseT connection, an Ethernet/LAN interface, which allows easy and rapid collection and monitoring of data. Through a wired LAN, the temperature and humidity can be controlled from remote locations. Whenever the freezer’s temperatures exceed the specified values, warning E-mails are sent to designated addresses.
T&D provides free Windows-based software for installation, downloading, and monitoring, graphing and exporting data for analysis. The analysis of data enables the organization to decide on servicing or repairing of the equipment.
