The industrial hygiene monitoring, fixed toxic and flammable gas detection, personal, wireless and portable systems from the innovative sensor solutions vendor RAE system will be showcased during the American Industrial Hygienists Conference and Exposition held at the Denver Convention Center during May 24 to May 26, 2010.
RAE offers these sensor solutions for government safety, industrial, environmental and energy markets world-over.
RAE will display multi and single-gas products, calibration stations for various applications in the industry and the most recent photo ionization detection (PID) and wireless gas detection technologies.
The show will feature wireless system products like the AreaRAE Steel and the RAELink3, which can be used for industrial applications. The MiniRAE 3000, the MiniRAE Lite, ppbRAE 3000 and the UltraRAE 3000 are the state-of-the-art photo ionization detectors that will be exhibited at the show. Among the confined space entry category of gas detectors that will be on display at the show are the MultiRAE Plus, the QRAE II, the ToxiRAE 3 and the AutoRAE Lite.
The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) are hosting the conference together. Various professionals from the Office of Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) and many industrial hygienists from the agricultural, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and other industrial markets are likely to attend this conference.
The AreaRAE Steel is a five sensor based wireless radiation and toxic sensing system. It offers three additional sensor choices, namely high range carbon monoxide, hydrogen chloride and hydrogen fluoride. The RAELink3, a wireless modem with repeater, is used for AreaRAE networks.
The MultiRAE Plus is a multi-gas handheld monitor with photo ionization detection (PID) capability. The QRAE II compact is a one-to-four sensor device for gas detection and is currently available for internally pumped and diffusion models and is useful for oxygen, carbon monoxide, combustibles and hydrogen sulfide detection. The ToxiRAE 3 is a single gas detector for hydrogen sulfide or carbon monoxide. The AutoRAE Lite is an automated calibration system for the one-to-four-gas type QRAE II limited space entry monitor.
The chemical compound specific VOC monitor for butadiene or benzene is intrinsically safe and wireless enabled. The MiniRAE Lite is a VOC monitor that is utilized in outdoor environmental scenarios. The MiniRAE is used to monitor the complete volatile organic compound at the parts-per-million scale. It has wireless functionality and the basic safety certification.
RAE Systems VP of America Sales Ryan Watson informed that an increasing number of industrial hygienists are utilizing and depending on RAE’s personal, wireless and portable tracking systems for receiving information related to unanticipated threats on real time basis. He added that RAE products also help to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations in the work scenario for the safety of the communities and the workers.
