Martel Electronics has launched a new LC-110H calibrator. The process instrumentation was improved by HART technology that adds more capabilities within every transmitter. This new LC-110H enables technicians to have better access to information for improved calibration, troubleshoot, and maintenance of these advanced systems.
Unlike the previously used expensive communicator or high end documenting calibrator, a loop calibrator and subsequent HART instrument facilitates accessing similar information as found in expensive devices like URV, TAG, LRV, PV, serial number, manufacturer, and beyond.
Martel designed this instrument to work with the speed and potential as that of a simple device like a loop calibrator. The LC-110H can be operated in a rotating knob style. A Quick-Set click of the knob will enable feature selection. The digital LC-110H ensures providing real-time adjustments where the rotation of the knob has been tracked by the transmitter output.
Functional features include PV, adjusting LRV and URV, trimming analog output, downloading and storage of transmitter configurations, and also optional BetaLOG software-based advanced digital/analog hybrid data logging.
LC-110H and the LC-110 feature superior plus-or-minus 0.01% of reading precision for DC current and voltage; 24 V DC instrument power supply drives the transmitter and 6 AAA batteries ensure extensive battery life. It uses highly readable ClearBrite black on white backlit LCD displays. The in-built 250 ohm HART load resistor can be activated or deactivated by the user. In addition, auto stepping and ramping, valve test function and auto-shutdown, and Martel's preferred decade knob control for the output ensures improved user function.
The LC-110H ergonomics is a portable, compact calibrator that provides access to the HART information.
