Cohu has unveiled new video surveillance solutions from its Cohu Electronics Division. The 7500HD Series has been recently added to the Cohu’s broad family of HDTV products. It provides unique image quality, network stability and event management processing.
The 7500HD Series is being offered in three configurations:
- 7510HD, an Indoor IP50-rated Fixed Network Box Camera,
- 7520HD, an Indoor/Outdoor IP66-rated Fixed Network Dome Camera,
- 7530HD, an Outdoor IP66-rated Fixed Network Camera.
The 7500HD Series can be effectively used for traffic, security and remote monitoring applications. Based on a dynamic encoding engine, the 7500HD Series can activate individually configured, multiple H.264 and MJPEG streams.
7500HD Series features configurable image settings, full HD video resolution of 1080p30, H.264 and MJPEG video compression codecs, event management processing, and on-board SDHC recording.
Event triggers: periodic timers, external sensor inputs, user commands and video motion detection.
Event actions: emailing event notifications, activating alarm outputs, sending snapshots and video clips to an FTP site, and storage of video recordings.
An analog video output combined with remote back focus enables easy installation. One-Touch-Focus feature when used for sharp images improves the quality and minimizes installation time.
Network and security features: Static or dynamic IP addressing, authentication rules, domain name, bandwidth limit setting, power-over-ethernet operation, network time server support.
The 7500HD Series ensures full function web server interface for absolute administrative and operator control capabilities.
Administrative features: Event management programming, configuring network settings, setting video streaming properties, user password assignments, and assigning camera ID labels. Access to the camera is highly secure.
The 7520HD and 7530HD is made up of corrosion-proof aluminum body and IP66 protection for outdoor application. The 7520HD dome’s ultra-strong polycarbonate bubble makes it vandal-resistant.
The 7500HD Series allows integration with 3rd party Video Management Systems (VMS) on compliance with industry interoperability standards for ONVIF and PSIA configuration, video streaming specifications and control interfaces. The 7500HD Series is available for video-analytics, providing traffic based video analytics and advanced security for supplementary functionality. The 7500HD Series will be offered by September 20, 2012.
The 7500HD Series will be exhibited from September 10-13, 2012 at ASIS International, Philadelphia, PA.
