Carlson Introduces New Machine Control Sensor

The integration of new Carlson MC Pro Vx5 3D machine control sensor with Carlson Machine Control’s touch-screen CBx5 Control Box Console results in seamless operation, installation and simple conveyance.

Carlson Machine Control and its authorized MC dealers provide both the innovative products. The MC Pro Vx5 features six components packed within a single robust, compact and convenient unit with machine control operation efficiency. Designed for adoption in heavy equipment deployed for complex operations, the CBx5 has MS Windows 7 and runs with rapid, industry-standard Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor.

The MC Pro Vx5 measures 26.32"x 8.23”x 4.8”, and with 5.1 lb of weight ensures easy installation and simple portability. The rugged IP69K unit in addition to dual axis slope, also extends GPS plus GLONASS L1/L2 high precision positioning and heading up to 20 Hz.

Complementing GPS and GLONASS features, the Carlson MC Pro Vx5 includes an integrated RTK UHF radio, compliant with all new FCC regulations and also provides supplementary World Radio options. The advanced CBx5 includes communication ports supporting future sensors and application features. The unit also consists of a scalable option for integrated GPS+GLONASS. Additionally, the CBx5 is compatible with all of Carlson’s machine control application software, like Basic Earthmover, MineRover, DredgeRover, and Landfill Rover.

With rugged design, Carlson MC Pro Vx5 and the CBx5 Control Box Console ensure seamless function. An Advanced Component Replacement Option to assure consistent operation is also being sold.

Carlson MC Pro Vx5 and the CBx5 will be showcased at the Carlson Software and RDO Integrated Controls, from Sept. 24 to26 at MINExpo International in Las Vegas.
