Oberthur Technologies declared that it has entered into a technology partnership with Zvetco Biometrics, a provider of network security solution and a well-established fingerprint authentication hardware manufacturer.
This partnership will foster the supply of strong authentication solutions to customers including companies and the government. Integration of Oberthur Technologies ID-One PIV smart-card and Zvetco Biometrics Verifi fingerprint readers results in better solution.
ID-One PIV serves to be Oberthur Technologies smart-card range that has been designed specifically to fulfill HSPD-121. Being the first fully FIPS-202 compliant smart-card for physical and logical access control, the ID-One PIV provides digital signature, authentication, encryption, fingerprint Match-On-Card, and post-issuance management capabilities. In-built with some applications such as cashless payment, this solution is versatile enough for a corporate market use.
Zvetco Biometrics’ Verifi line of fingerprint readers is renowned to be one of the precise and robust fingerprint capture devices being offered. The P6000 and P6500 fall under the GSA Approved Products List (APL) listings. They are also FBI certified and comply to the stringent FIPS 201/PIV standard. By meeting the industry standards, Zvetco Biometrics can be optimized with several industry leading software solutions in major user authentication segments like SDK4, single sign-on, PKI3, programming languages, middleware, and beyond.
