Whether you work in supply, medical monitoring, or industry, your business can benefit from the wireless monitoring systems provided by CAS DataLoggers.
Our T&D RTR-500-AW Wireless Base Station and RTR-500-NW Network Base Station both feature alarm capabilities to immediately warn you of a problem with the equipment under monitoring allowing you to quickly respond to the problem yourself or alert a maintenance crew. Together, all these monitoring and alarming features help prevent product loss and potentially disastrous downtime/resupply times due to negligence.
Simply place the probes from your wireless data loggers into your materials/equipment under monitoring. When any of your registered remote units goes into alarm state, T&D 500W base stations will automatically close their alarm contact pair (this applies to all our models of T&D loggers). You don’t need to perform any commands in the software if Warnings are already set to On.
Users have found many uses for their gateway alarm device connection including triggering a light, a buzzer, siren, and even to trip a zone on a continually-monitored burglar alarm system. Our systems are especially suitable for these types of alarming applications owing to their wireless communication and real-time continual monitoring capabilities.
Gather all the temperature and humidity data from your loggers via USB, remote GSM technology, LAN and handheld data collectors. You can also set up your base station to automatically download the data via wireless communication and then send that data via network to a designated e-mail address, or continually monitor for warnings and send warning reports across the network via email. You can also choose to send data to an FTP folder or T&D’s WebStorage server. Wireless communication between the data loggers ranges to about 500 ft (150 meters), and you can expand the range even farther by registering an RTR-500 as a Repeater.
Each datalogger’s memory capacity of 16,000 readings means that you can set each remote unit to record every second and still log four and a half hours of data - for example you can use a 30 minute recording interval to keep logging continuously for 333 days. Our data loggers have a battery life of about 10 months and can be upgraded to last for about 4 years of use.
CAS DataLoggers provides expert configuration assistance, custom programming, custom system design and assembly, post-sales technical support, and repair and calibration services.
