Medical Alarming and Regulatory Compliance Technology by CAS DataLoggers

As the director, supervisor or lab technician of a pharmacy, you’re often hard-pressed to find an affordable medical monitoring and alarming system to show proof that your products’ temperatures have remained safe for their entire storage duration.

Cases of spoiled vaccine supplies are regularly in the news and the consequences for losing these valuable supplies can potentially be disastrous. Now CAS DataLoggers and T&D offer a low-cost temperature recording solution for medical refrigerators and freezers with the new TR-701NW Temperature Data Logger.

These devices are designed to be used over a wired LAN network allowing you to monitor data and warnings from your PC or mobile device. You can also view and printout full electronic documentation showing proof of regulatory compliance including Title 21 CFR Part 11. Storing and archiving all your temperature data has never been easier.

These data loggers take temperature measurements on 2 channels using an external temperature sensor with a Measuring Range from the necessary -40°C low up to 110°C (-40°F to 230°F). Measurement resolution is accurate to 0.1°C, with current readings clearly shown on the LCD display. For extended logging, each temperature monitor can store up to 8,000 data sets. By making settings in the data logger, you can periodically have recorded data sent automatically via FTP or E-mail, making it possible to check data without the need for an onsite PC.

Also, by using the supplied ‘Current Readings Monitor’ application, you can have recorded data automatically saved to a folder in your PC. The TR-701NW’s wired LAN network connection ensures you get Alarm Messages sent by e-mail to your PC or Mobile Device. For additional alarming, you can also connect a siren or other external warning device to trigger the moment that temperatures go out of safety ranges.

You’ll also get FREE online storage with the provided T&D Webstorage Service. This popular cloud storage and sharing service provides long-term storage space for customers’ files, up to 20MB. T&D data files are very space-efficient which ensures extensive logging durations.

In light of increasing regulatory pressures such as Title 21 CFR Part 11, this user-friendly data organization lets you instantly view, save, and print all your data. This functionality saves you time otherwise spent hunting for your data, and you can also export to spreadsheet software in many popular formats including .CSV so you can save, print etc. in your preferred spreadsheet programs.

These new devices are an ideal yet cost-effective recording and regulatory compliance solution for monitoring and alarming your temperature-sensitive product—call our Applications Specialists for more details.
