EC&M Names WattStopper Digital Lighting Management Retrofit Kit as Product of the Year

WattStopper announced that its Digital Lighting Management (DLM) retrofit kit has been named a 2015 Product of the Year Category Winner by Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) magazine. The EC&M Product of the Year awards program recognizes new innovative products in the electrical industry.

WattStopper's DLM retrofit kit brings intelligence and digital control to buildings with legacy relay panels, allowing building owners and property managers to optimize energy efficiency and occupancy comfort. It leverages existing line voltage relays, power supplies and wiring making it a cost-effective and simple yet robust solution. Retrofit kits are available for use with legacy WattStopper, GE, Horton controls and other panels.

Additionally, the retrofit kit provides enormous flexibility as building owners can choose to retain, replace or augment previously installed controls on the schedule they choose. They can also integrate new upgraded digital control platform with other BACnet building systems.

"It is an honor to have our solution be recognized by EC&M as a Product of the Year category winner," said Jim Young, Vice President of Marketing at WattStopper. "The DLM retrofit kit embodies our approach to offer the most flexible, simple, scalable, and code ready control solutions in the industry."

According to EC&M, category winners will compete for the 2015 Product of the Year Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards, which will be determined by its readers through an online poll. Winners will be announced in the August 2015 issue.
