The LOX-O2 UV Flux 25 % Oxygen Sensor (previously OX-0052) is designed for environments requiring 0-25 % oxygen levels, making it ideal for safety monitoring where inert gases are stored or utilized.
This sensor offers reduced power consumption compared to electrochemical and galvanic sensors, and due to its non-depleting sensing mechanism, it has a longer lifespan.
The LOX-O2 is both ppO2 and temperature compensated, allowing linear performance across a broad range without additional system components. It is free of lead and hazardous substances and has minimal cross-sensitivity to other gases.
Features
- Internal temperature compensation; no cross-sensitivity
- Direct UART communication, no signal conditioning required
- Hazard-free; RoHS and REACH compliant
- High accuracy and maintenance-free
Models
- LOX-O2 Sensor: Suitable for integration into high-volume original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products or hobbyist use.
- CM-42950: O2 25 % Smart Sensor with MX Board offers the same functionality as the development kit, without a USB cable or software.
- CM-42951: Oxygen Smart Sensor with Development Kit
- Sensor Development Kit (CM-200): Simple to use; connect the sensor to the PCB and then to the PC via USB. Use the free GasLab® software for CO2 measurement and graphing, or access the source code library on Github to develop custom applications or for OEM batch testing and configuration.

Accessories
- Gas Sensor Development Kit (CM-200): Provides an easy drop-in solution, including the free GasLab data logging software.
- Micro-Pump Kit: Contains all necessary components to use tube-cap adapters for a sampling sensor setup.
- Tube Cap Adapter: Converts various gas sensors from diffusion to sampling applications. The company recommends the LOX-02-F Flow Through Oxygen Sensor with tube caps for sampling-specific needs.
- Micro Gas Sampling Pumps: Ensures a consistent airflow across the sensor when used with a tube cap, ideal for bench-top testing in closed-loop sampling applications.
- Nafion Tubing: A highly selective, semi-permeable membrane for water vapor. It allows drying if the gases inside are more humid than the surrounding environment or humidification if the surrounding gases are wetter.
