Cubic Global Tracking Solutions, a unit of Cubic Corporation, declared that they have linked with DASH7 Alliance for establishing their company's position as an international leader in providing asset management solutions.
The non-profitable collaboration aims to improve the utility of wire-free sensor technologies by progressing the developments to gain ISO 18000-7 certification for the company’s effective RFID, assuring the interoperability among the systems and creating awareness about the accessible technologies in the market. The DASH7 systems are operative on a single frequency, are interoperable and do not require any additional installations for any application.
Cubic's Global Sentinel™ is a flexible device which can track the assets and provide safety solution to the commercial and government sectors. It can be accessible in various designs for many assets, comprising trailers, trucks, containers or pallets, and is utilized world-wide for fleet management, refrigerated and dry containers and for high-value assets. Cubic’s sensing devices can measure a broad range of parameters such as shock, acceleration, humidity, temperature, light, motion and radiation.
Patrick Burns, DASH7 Alliance’s President stated that Global Sentinel from Cubic is capable of performing constant monitoring and reporting which will outdate the fixed infrastructure in the fluctuating supply-chain environments. He added that this will lower the utility and maintenance expenses for the DASH7 consumers and also advance a broad sequence of supply-chain functions.
According to Randall Shepard, Cubic GTS’ Senior Vice President, they have been advancing the wire-free network for reliable data transmission for about 10 years and that by the alliance, they are anticipating complete market value for their active RFID products for enhancing world-wide logistics and asset visibility.
