Panasonic has introduced the new Panasonic MW-20 a versatile and classy digital photo frame plus a stereo sound system with iPhone and iPod touch compatibility.
The iPod and iPhone can be powered when connected to the supplied frame in the system. The MW-20 contains a high resolution nine inch screen used to display photos or play videos. It also has a superior audio technology containing a diffuser, that optimizes the sound, and a 5.6 ultra slim semi-dome shaped speaker, along with an in-built DSP (digital signal processor), which modifies the audio signals to go with the speaker system.
According to David Fisher, Panasonic’s Product Manger, the Panasonic MW-20 is a powerful gadget with a stylish design that would harmonize or be a foil for any home décor and at the same time display videos, photos, and play music.
This system has a flexible angle display that permits modification of the angle to enhance the view direction. This works only in landscape orientation or when placed or suspended on a wall. Photos taken by using a digital still camera can be displayed on this system by slotting a SD memory card. Additional storage is provided by the 2GB built-in memory. Its LUMIX scene mode playback function facilitates users to display groups of photos taken by a LUMIX digital camera, utilizing its iA intelligent scene selector mode. This system also has specific combinations showing clock, calendar and photo options. Its low power consumption along with a luminescence sensor, which regulates the screen’s brightness to the room lighting, makes it a very attractive device. it will be available in the market by late November 2010
