The mounting system includes standard mounting accessories that are mechanically rugged. The system has the capability to manage complex positioning tasks. The fasteners from Balluff are made of V4A stainless steel or plastic, allowing them to be used in automotive and industrial environments. The stainless steel fasteners can be used in food, pharmaceutical and brewery industries that require high hygiene as they are resistant to industrial cleaning agents.
The system has every possible accessory for mounting. It includes cross-connectors, clamping cylinders, and sensor holders designed specifically for holding tubular and block style sensors. Many of these accessories also provide mechanical protection in addition to their fastening function.
The sensor mounting system has knurled support rods for providing a secure hold for heavy and large sensors. The system also includes adapter plates and reflector holders. The base holder made of aluminum can fit most mounting extrusions and can completely cover the slot.
