A laser and radar detector manufacturer headquartered in West Chester, Beltronics has announced the availability of the STi Magnum, the completely invisible laser and radar detector.
The Vice President- Sales of Beltronics, Don Rich stated that the STi Magnum is the first detector, which allows drivers to remain secretive about the use of an electrically imperceptible detector. Based on Beltronics’ invisible STi design, the radar detector allows for advanced detection and stealth operation.
An official statement from Speed Measurement Labs announced that the STI Driver is the sole detector, which cannot be detected by any radar detector detectors. The STi DRIVER laser and radar detector was introduced five years ago by Beltronics. Until its inception, radar detectors were prone to being discovered by radars used by the law enforcement officials. The STi DRIVER and ESCORT REDLINE are currently the only detectors, which are invisible to such detectors.
The STi Magnum range has an improved range performance of 60% and is available in an invisible performance package. Its dual antenna design processes X band signals independently and K and Ka bands separately for an improved range. This separate band processing detects Ka and K radar bands of higher frequency.
The STi Magnum incorporates the TotalShield Technology, which removes all radio frequency emissions, thus making it undetectable to all radar detectors including the VG2 and Spectre series. It offers four brightness levels and the user controls are backlight and allows for ease-of-use even at night. The features of the STi Magnum include the Pilot Mode for operation on highways, different cities and voltage meter, the Alert Lamp, which notifies the driver that an alert has been received, the 64 Digital Voice Alerts for announcements of Ka, K, X bands, Laser and other messages, the Alert Meter for visual alert or threat display.
