British-based BabyPing, a Y-Cam Solutions company will reveal the high security baby monitor at CES 2012 being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada. The Wi-Fi enabled baby monitor sends information to the iPod Touch, iPad and the iPhone to allow parents to monitor their infant by accessing both audio and visual data.
Designed to replace monitors of older designs, the BabyPing monitor is the first device which uses modern technology to keep parents connected with their infants, wirelessly. A monitoring application provides latest security features that include alerts and double-layer security to notify the parents if any of the following three scenarios occur such as the baby crying, the Wi-Fi connection is interrupted or broken and the iOS monitoring device is not in range.
The advanced baby monitor offers a 640 X 480 resolution color video, wireless Wi-Fi and an inbuilt microphone. Developed with SmartFilter technology, the BabyPing monitor reduces the static and noise usually associated with traditional baby monitors. The monitor also integrates Constant-Connect, which performs the role of a permanent tether between the monitor and the app and notifies the parent when attention is required. Furthermore, the monitor does not access external Wi-Fi networks to send information for further security. The use of the home Wi-Fi network also helps avoid web streaming and additional bandwidth costs.Invisible IR night vision is also an additional and unique feature which offers 24X7 visibility without causing any disturbance to the baby.
