Beltronics, a Cinncinati, OH-based manufacturer of laser and radar detectors, has announced that It will showcase the latest Professional Series STi Magnum detector and other innovative products at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS), which will be held in Louisville, Kentucky from 23rd to 25thMarch, 2012 at booth no 40652 in the North Wing Lobby.
The Vice President of Sales at Beltronics, Don Rich stated that the STi series detectors have been rated by professional drivers as the best performing stealth solution for six years in a row. Rich also added that the GX65 radar detectors will also be showcased at MATS 2012.
The STi Magnum featuring Beltronics’ TotalShield technology is “completely invisible” and is undetectable by any detector. Equipped with the dual low-noise amplifier microwave receiver, it ensures separate processing of X band signals from the Ka and K bands for greater range. Its AutoScan feature constantly analyzes all the signals and rejects the false alarms. The STi Magnum features multiple laser sensors, offers several sensitivity controls and is undetectable by Spectre and VG2 receivers used for law enforcement.
Beltronics will also showcase the Magnum’s compatibility with the real-time ticket protection network, the ESCORT Live. It provides laser and radar ticket protection by using cloud-based information and threat sharing in real-time among the drivers.
ESCORT Live utilizes Bluetooth technology in SmartCord Live cords to detect alarms that are transmitted to the Live cloud and notifies drivers of possible ticket threats. The smartphone app also provides drivers access to the Defender database of speed traps and fixed position cameras.
