Burns Engineering has introduced 5-Day Temperature Calibrations. The 5-Day lab-to-lab calibration service is ANSI/NCSL Z540 and ISO 17025 compliant.
Burns Engineering offers laboratory-grade Secondary Standard PRTs and has a Calibration Laboratory accredited by NVLAP since 2006. Calibration services are offered for sensor/meter system and industrial PRT sensors. The calibration specialists operating in the metrology laboratory perform NIST traceable calibrations using precision measurement electronics and calibration baths to ensure high standard calibration.
The 5-Day Promise enables pre-scheduling of instrument calibration to ensure that the instrument is not out of service for too long before it is calibrated. The calibrated instrument is returned to the customer with a Certificate of Calibration which details the “As Found” information along with details that will aid customers to use the device quickly.
The calibration capability offered by the 5-Day temperature calibration encompasses 3- and 5-point options and temperature ranges between -196°C and 500°C. It includes laboratory- and industrial-grade sensor calibrations and includes multi-channel, handheld and meter system calibrations with minimal uncertainties of 1.6mK.
Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Burns Engineering designs and manufactures transmitters and temperature sensors including bearing temperature sensors, bioreactor sensors, air temperature sensors, miniature RTDs, wire wound temperature sensors, thin film RTD temperature sensors, industrial thermocouples, autoclave sensors, thermowells, resistance thermometers, sanitary sensors and accessories, non-intrusive RTD temperature sensors, temperature transmitters for thermocouples and RTDs, cryogenic probes, industrial secondary standard platinum resistance thermometers and miniature loop powered transmitter and integral connection head.
