The 2012 Sensors Expo & Conference being held at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center located in Rosemont, Illinois will demonstrate important technologies and sensing topics, including temperature, pressure, position, detection and measurement.
Held from 6th – 7th June, 2012, the event will draw the brightest and leading engineers and scientists who develop path-breaking sensor systems. In addition to a focus on big data & analytics, energy harvesting, wireless and MEMS systems, the 2012 Sensors Expo will also provide a platform for new product releases.
The sessions at the 2012 Sensors Expo include “Non-Traditional Measurements with Eddy-Current Sensors” delivered by Gregory Speckman from Kaman Precision Products, “Spectral Methods to Extract Useful Information at Very Low Signal Noise” delivered by Ralph Levy from Quant Engineering, “Snapshot Hyperspectral Imaging” delivered by Jim Daly from Bodkin Design & Engineering, “New Long Stroke Vibration Shaker Design using Linear Motor Technology” delivered by Patrick Timmons and Mark Schiefer from The Modal Shop, “Capacitive Ceramic Pressure Sensors” delivered by Max Jochem Kreutzer from Endress + Hauser, “Optical Strain Measurement for Model Validation” jointly delivered by John Tyson from Trilion Quality Systems and Angelo Nichols from Dynamic Control, “Position Sensing for Harsh Environment, Mobile Applications: Pan-Tilt-Zoom Actuator for Military Vehicles” delivered jointly by Arthur Holzknecht from Renishaw and Pragnesh Patel from Moog-Quickset, and “Accurate Liquid Level Measurement and its Effect on General Aviation Safety and Performance” delivered jointly by Cody Morrow from Cirrus Aircraft and Scott Philiben from CIES.
The Event Director, Wendy Lowe stated that the 2012 Sensors Expo will feature multiple educations tracks to showcase the attendees the latest developments in detection and measurement technologies. Conference tracks will also include the latest approaches to applied sensing as well as sensor and system design.
