GuardRFID declared that it has merged with the DASH7 Alliance™, a leading promoter with many participants for wireless sensor networking. The GuardRFID, a generator of RFID Technology and Solutions for the protection of applications in the 433MHz radio wave length, is mulling over to collaborate with more than 50 companies in furthering the ISO 18000-7 (DASH7) standard.
The DASH7 products’ correlation with places, people and surroundings are made easier by its wireless sensor networks and it features security and sensor facility, multi-kilometer range, durable battery and tag-to-tag communication in the 433 MHz spectrum. The distinctive DASH7 products with a practical design work on single wavelength irrespective of applications.
The ISO 18000-7 standard has been given the brand DASH7 for active RFID akin to the Wi-Fi brand for IEEE 802.11 communications.
According to Patrick Burns, president of the DASH7 Alliance, GuardRFID's participation in the coalition will set up DASH7 as a world-wide brand for wireless sensor networks. He also added that the influence of GuardRFID in the healthcare industry will enhance the DASH7 business in the hospitals as well as in the medical supplement system.
