Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, provider of advanced optical technology that precisely measures the elements of color and light, announces the extension of its product offerings in North America, with the addition of Instrument Systems LumiCam 1300 Advanced Imaging Photometer and Colorimeter.
This new imaging photometer and colorimeter has been designed for the highest accuracy when analyzing the characteristics of displays, electronic panel graphics and control panels used in a variety of industries including automotive and aerospace. Increased accuracy is attributed to the unique camera concept of the LumiCam 1300 Advanced which now uses an additional two filters, featuring a total of six optical filters.
The LumiCam 1300 Advanced offers high precision for measuring color coordinates, especially for LED color measurements, making it an ideal alternative to spectroradiometric instruments with significantly shorter measurement times. "With the improved color accuracy combined with the powerful LumiCam software, the new LumiCam Advanced is ideally suited for customers who need to have the utmost confidence in their measurements especially when analyzing the narrow band LEDs in today's displays and controls" said Mark Lyon, Konica Minolta Sensing Regional Sales Manager, Radiometric Products.
The addition of the LumiCam 1300 Advanced to our product portfolio will further expand our diverse range of measurement instruments and create the opportunity to provide a more complete solution for our customers.
Konica Minolta Sensing Americas will co-exhibit with Instrument Systems at SID Display Week from June 2 - June 4, 2015, in San Jose, California at booth 816/818, showcasing the LumiCam 1300 Advanced. In addition, Konica Minolta Sensing Americas distributes a full line of Instrument Systems products, software, and accessories.
