APG-81 Radar Sensor Exceeds Performance Objectives in Lockheed Martin's F-35 Test Aircraft

The new electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, APG-81, from Northrop Grumman Corporation, successfully tracked long-range targets on Lockheed Martin's first mission systems flight. General Dynamics’ Business Unit Acquires Sensor Manufacturer Kylmar

The business unit of General Dynamics, General Dynamics United Kingdom Ltd, acquired Kylmar (KMC) Ltd., a sensor and optical surveillance company that specializes in products suitable for security and military applications. Although the value of the cash transactions remain undisclosed, the cash transaction is slated to be accretive to 2011 earnings of General Dynamics.
